Counselling aims to enable young people to express how they feel, become clearer in their thinking and then use both to discover what behaviours work best for them. Counselling sessions allow a young person to have a safe space to talk to a trained and caring adult outside of the family about issues that are affecting them.
As a trained counsellor I will draw on a range of approaches to support each young person, suited to their individual needs.
I have over 20 years experience of working with young people in a variety of settings including schools, youth groups and one-to-one sessions.
To enhance my practice I am currently undertaking a level 7 Post-Qualifying Diploma in Counselling Children and Young People.
Counselling sessions take place weekly in
The Counselling Cabin in a private, comfortable room in Devizes, SN10.
I have an enhanced DBS, am fully insured and am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
I am committed to giving each young person the highest possible standard of service and am available for parents to contact me throughout the counselling process.
Sessions are £45 for a 50-minute session.
